SKIN TREATMENTS
Microchanneling Botox Facial
Microchanneling Botox Facial uses a stamping device that contains 20, 24k gold tip needles to deliver custom serums and solutions into the skin to improve fine lines/wrinkles, texture, acne scars and decrease pigment.
Each needle creates a hole in the skin the same thickness as hair, allowing for the delivery of these serums and solutions. Serums and solutions will be tailored to your aesthetic goals and contain neuromodulators (such as Botox or Dysport) as well as dermal filler (hyaluronic acid), ZO Accelerated Serums and/or natural growth factors. Microchanneling also stimulates production of your own collagen for prolonged results.
Pro tip: Book this treatment with a solution containing neuromodulators/dermal filler 1-2 weeks before an event for tight, glowing skin that lasts 6-8 weeks!

Frequently Asked Questions
How Does Microchanneling Work?
The microchanneling device creates microscopic openings in the skin that allows for the direct delivery of active ingredients into the dermis including hyaluronic acid dermal filler and neuromodulators. The result is brighter and smoother appearing skin for upwards of 6-8 weeks. Microchanneling also stimulates collagen and elastin production similar to microneedling for prolonged results. Unlike SkinPen microneedling, the depth of the microchanneling needles are fixed and do not go as deep as the microneedling cartridge.
How Many Microchanneling Treatments Will I Need?
This varies patient to patient depending on what we are treating and aesthetic goals, but most patients require a minimum of 3 treatments. Treatments can be spaced 4-6 weeks apart and results are usually maintained with 1-2 treatments per year.
How Soon Will I See Results From Microchanneling?
Noticeable changes can be seen after a few days and gradually improve up to 3 months after treatment as the skin continues its natural healing process.
How Long Will Microchanneling Results Last?
With any in-office skin treatment we recommend an at-home medical grade skincare regimen designed for you by Skin Design. In-office treatments are only a small fraction of what you can do to improve your skin’s health and appearance. A medical grade, at-home skincare regimen will not only give you better results, but help you maintain those results.
What Are The Side Effects Of Microchanneling?
The most common side effects are bleeding, redness, bruising, warmth and mild swelling that usually improve after 48 hours.
Is There Downtime After Microchanneling?
Noticeable redness and some swelling are common after treatment and usually resolve 1-2 days after treatment. You should avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sweating and makeup application for at least 48 hours. If you are concerned about social downtime, we recommend you receive treatment at least 2 weeks before any major event (ie: wedding, family photos, etc.).
Is Microchanneling Painful?
We apply topical anesthetic prior to treatment, making the treatment extremely comfortable.
