How Does SKINVIVE Work?
SKINVIVE is made of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is naturally occuring in our skin and responsible for providing the skin with moisture and hydration. Injecting HA in a microdroplet fashion into the skin can improve the quality of the skin by smoothing and increasing hydration, leaving the skin more refreshed, healthy and glowing.
How Much SKINVIVE Will I Need?
Most patients receive 2 syringes of SKINVIVE per treatment.
How Soon Will I See Results From Skinvive?
Most patients see results 2 weeks after SKINVIVE treatment.
How Long Does SKINVIVE Last?
The results from a SKINVIVE treatment have been shown to last up to 6 months.
Final results are seen 2 weeks after treatment.
What Are The Side Effects Of SKINVIVE?
The most common side effects are bruising, mild discomfort and redness. Some swelling is also possible.
Is There Downtime After Receiving SKINVIVE?
There is no downtime, but there are some rules you should follow. You should avoid strenuous exercise, saunas/steam rooms, swimming and makeup on the treatment area for at least 48 hours. Otherwise, you will be able to return to most of your normal, daily activities. We also recommend you receive treatment at least 2 weeks before any major event (ie: wedding, family photos, etc.) if you are concerned about social downtime.
Are SKINVIVE Injections Painful?
The needle is very small and will feel nothing more than a slight pinprick. If needed, a topical anesthetic can be applied to reduce discomfort.
